Sooji(Rava) Chilla Recipe

Sooji(Rava) Chilla Recipe is very healthy and tasty for everyone. It is especially liked at the time of breakfast either morning or evening. Healthy and easy sooji chilla take few minutes in cooking. This is so easy in cooking and is great for busy morning. You can even make the batter in advance and make this Rava chilla the next day.

Sooji Chilla is an easy pancake or dosa recipe made using sooji. Its taste is so delicious as it is, and it can be eaten with any chutney of your choice.

 

Chilla Recipe

Ingredients of Sooji Chilla

·      250 g Sooji (Rava)

·      2 cup water

·      2 pinches turmeric powder

·      Oil as required

·      1/2 spoon finely chopped ginger

·      1/2 spoon red chilli powder

·      1 big finely chopped onion

·      4 green chillies finely chopped

·      ½ capsicum finely chopped

·      1 small tomato finely chopped

 

·      chopped coriander leaves

 

 How to make Rava Chilla

To start with, take a deep bowl and add Sooji and water in it. Mix it well and keep it side for 15-20 minutes. Then add  chopped onions, chopped capsicum, green chilies, ginger, turmeric powder, red chili powder, chopped tomato, coriander leaves and salt to taste. Mix it in a smooth batter.

Take a non-stick tawa or pan and heat oil in it. Pour two big teaspoon amount of batter in the middle of the pan and spread the batter in a circular form. Sprinkle some oil on it and cook it on medium flame till it is golden brown in colour. Turn it and cook from the other side as well.
