Creamy Malai Kofta

Malai Kofta is a popular recipe of paneer and potato, which is cooked spices cooked to perfection. What makes this recipe even more tasty, its creamy texture and cheesy malai balls. Ingredients of Malai Kofta

·        100 gm paneer

·        100 gm potatoes

·        1/4 cup cashews

·        1 tablespoon paste garlic and ginger

·        1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder

·        1 tablespoon mustard oil

·        1 teaspoon all-purpose flour

·        1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder

·        2 medium chopped tomato

·        Onion – 1 large

·        Butter – 1 tablespoon

·        Bay leaf- 1

·        Clove   – 3

·        Salt   – To taste

·        Coriander powder- 1 tablespoon

·        Kasooti methi- 1/2 teaspoon

·        Fresh Cream- 1/4 cup

Method of Malai Kofta

Firstly, make gravy, Take tomato, onion, ginger, garlic and some water. cooked it very well, Let simmer for 15 minutes. Let it cool down and make a smooth paste of it.

Heat oil and butter in a pan once it gets hot put in it bat leaf, clove, cardamom and fry it for some second, a nice aroma will feel you. Then add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala and a pinch of turmeric powder and mix it and cook well then add water as for nice gravy then add kasoori methi then cook for 1-2 minute and then turn off the flame.

Now make Kofta, take boiled and mashed potatoes and grated paneer, all-purpose flour, and salt to taste and mix well using hand and make it into a dough. Then make small balls by it. Heat the oil in a pan on high flam for deep fry. Once oil is hot put kofta balls into the hot oil. When it got browned colour then take out it and keep it on a plate.

Add kofta into gravy and put fresh cream and stir it carefully because our kofta is very soft. Garnish it by some fresh coriander leaf and cream.
